VFWR 3115, area ALR and members of Veterans Organizations attended Funeral Service for Retired Army Major Nicholas “Nick” Romaine Jr., age 70…he was a member of VFW Post 3115 (Wichita). Nicholas served two tours in Vietnan, was awarded numerous medals & citations, including the Bronze star with Oak Leaf Cluster, the Purple Heart, several Air Medals & the coveted Combat Infantryman Badge. Funeral took place Saturday, October 23 at Resthaven in Wichita.
