Pictures-Funeral-U.S. Air Force Veteran Melvin Horstman 

Riders attended the graveside service for USAF Veteran & fellow American Legion Post 408 member, Melvin Horstman at El Paso Cemetery, Derby, KS. Mr. Horstman retired from the U.S. Air Force in 1968 as a Lieutenant Colonel. He had a distinguished & decorated career as a pilot. He piloted a B-47 Bomber during the Korean War & received a Distinguished Flying Cross. He was instrumental in the restoration of the B-47 on display at the entrance to McConnell Air Force Base in Wichita. (Photos Courtesy of Eric Peterson)
