Funeral-U.S. Army Air Corps Veteran Robert (Bob) Stimson 

American Legion Riders joined together to pay final respects to U.S. Army Air Corps Veteran Robert (Bob) Stimson. Mr. Stimson, 91, passed away March 4, 2013. Celebration of Bob’s Life was held at 10:00 A.M., Monday, March 11, 2013, at RiverWalk Church of Christ, 225 N. Waco. Bob proudly served in World War II, Army, Air Corps, South Pacific. After being discharged from the service, he was hired at Beech aircraft, where he worked until his retirement 43 years later. Bob was an avid golfer, and loved the sport. He took pride in gardening and loved fishing. A memorial has been established with Carpenter’s Place Children’s Home, 1501 N. Meridian, Wichita, KS 67203. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the Stimson Family.
